1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup applesauce
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup walnuts
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
cooking spray
1.Preheat oven to 350°F Grease cookie sheets with cooking spray.
2.Beat sugar and butter together until blended.
3.Add applesauce and egg; beat well.
4.Combine flour, oats, soda, cinnamon and salt in small bowl.
5.Add flour mixture to sugar/butter mixture; beat until blended.
6.Stir in raisins, walnuts and vanilla.
7.Using 3 level tablespoon, drop dough 2- inches apart on prepared cookie sheets.
8.Flatten slightly.
9.Bake at 350°F for 10-15 minutes.
10.Remove from pan; cool.
