Lets have some sweets!

Between the two wakes and two funerals we have W, Th, and F, I decided we need some sweets to pick us up. Here is one of my favorite recipes! Super simple and quick.YUMMY!

Chocolate Caramel Cookies

INGREDIENTS

• 1 package (18-1/4 ounces) devil's food cake mix

• 1 egg

• 1/4 cup water

• 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

• 38 Rolo candies or caramels

• Chopped hazelnuts or other nuts

 DIRECTIONS

I In a large bowl, combine the dry cake mix, egg, water and oil. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls. Press a candy into each; reshape balls. Dip tops in hazelnuts.

Place 2-in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until tops are cracked. Cool for 2 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks. Yield: 3 dozen. Editor's Note: If the dough is sticky, spray hands lightly with nonstick cooking spray before rolling into balls.
